Raffa or Famfam, as what we always call him, is experiencing seizures and other complications including severe Pneumonia which are effects of the disorder...

the oxygen helps him to breathe...

the tube attached to his tummy allows him to eat...

the LOVE of his parents and the people around him including YOU, gives him LIFE and STRENGTH...

Here's another successful show that we've organized for Raffa.... Thanks ROUTE 196 for our venue...JP Balboa, Chief Allan M. and all the owners of Route for the big help. To the bands and artists who performed -- JULIANNE, PUPIL, SINOSIKAT, ITCHYWORMS, ARCHIPELAGO, RICO BLANCO,and HAPI HOUSE you guys all rock!!! To all those who went to help and support, SALAMAT!

It was flooded and got no power all over the metro including their place. They needed electricity to make the oxygen and all the other machines work for Raffa so it's a must to transfer the little angel to a safer place with electricity.

Raffa was in and out of The Medical City in Ortigas since he was born until he was transferred to another hospital last Oct 1,2009 at Polymedic in Mandaluyong. He is currently admitted at the ICU now.

Rafael " Isaac" Borja Garcia is the son of Wendell Garcia (drummer of Pupil) and Jaja Borja. Raffa was discovered to be suffering from Cutis Laxa Syndrome when he was born. Cutis Laxa is rarely encountered and may occur in several inherited (congenital) forms or come about in the course of another disorder (acquired).It is a connective tissue disorder characterized by skin that is loose, hanging,wrinkled and hanging in elasticity (hyperelasticity).The affected area of the skin may be thickened and dark.In addition, the joints are loose (hypermobility) because of lax ligaments and tendons. The variety of symptoms and signs that result from defects in connective tissue.Defective connective tissue may cause problem in vocal chords, bones, cartilage, blood vessels, bladder, kidney, digestive system and lungs.He has been in and out of the hospital and ICU since he was born.A little help from each one of us will go a long long way.
